I used to enjoy this board....

but as of late there is nothing but name calling and finger pointing. Nothing worth reading at all. Very sad.

Well, you can do one of two things....

I agree, Aea. If you are not interested in seeing how Kodiboy's love quest is progressing, there is very little to find here.

Ah poor Attila...I'm just using Cudj's words, yes, no? cmon, one day after valentines and yer just can't show some luvin.... prey tell, what would y'all like to talk about that hasn't been rehashed here for what seems like since last year?  Oh yea, as cudj says, simple....nothing new, nuthin!  only spec talk over and over and over and over, and...

Millski, why do you still post and stay here on this forum if you don't like like it and find it useless? Why stick around? Plus, why are so sure you aren't included in the finger pointing and such?  It takes two to tango...oh there is a one of two things...

Kodiboy, I tried the high road. But in the face of such strong sentiments, I caved.

Not going to say too much..but I will have to say that I believe mill has developed a thicker skin over the last couple of years on this forum. That is a compliment for Mill. A good thick skin is a must for SH posters. LONG...PGD EKIM

Again Attila, right over my simple mind...huh?

The full quote: "A team is where a boy can prove his courage on his own. A gang is where a coward goes to hide." What can be said is that in today's world, Mickey Mantle would be a Sexist. Actually it was sexist back then too, but only a few people knew it. Today, there are a lot more people that know that is sexist...but unfortunately there are still a few who are still clueless. ...more

My 10 yr old daughter, who was looking at quotes on line, actually brought this one up and was asking me about what it meant.  We talked about the gender issue as well, and she said, yes, that man should have said boy or girl, and I explained to her to best of my ability, how the world was back then, not how it should have been, but the reality, the truth.

Another example of how western society is self destructing with the all consuming concern of poitical correctness. Just look at the divided states of america as it tears itself apart while the enemies of democracy around the world rejoice and grow more bold. Thousands streaming from the DSA into Canada as they know they will have an immigration lawyer, a warm bed and a home ...more

Wow, this is one subject that is "bigger" than all of us, yet, we all have our voice, still, as some want to shut us up... My parents taught me to stand up for myself and more importantly, for others, who maybe cannot do so and need a little or a lot of help, support and kindness...and that's how I live my life, and promote the same with my children, and hopefully their children' ...more

In reference to parents....I would suspect that most parents would teach their kids not to go around giving thumbs down or 1/5 stars to people they meet or interact with. Maybe one star willy had a rough childhood and not very good parents....hmmm. No big as one star willy is completely anonymous...so we will never know. Now we are in deep thought...and getting deeper. LONG...PGD EKIM

Mike so true. I guess for me I understand that some people get pissed off when the subject gets all screwed up but just like in real life, that happens all the time and here its exacerbated by an anonymous forum with some stubborn people. From this day forward, as Rodney King once said, can't we just all get along. Mill says he's tried the high road and it failed, good for him for thinking ...more

That's ok, Kodiboy. I am not surprized you find me interesting. I am interesting. You can keep talking about me, but you have to agree that others might find that out of 10 posts 7 from you mostly about me is a bit too much. Switch it up a bit. Haywood's interest is the only development lately and it could turn out pretty important. Try that.

aea257, I'd agree with you, but I ghosted griefman a few months ago and it really cleaned things up, for me. The other offenders are not far behind. It's my first time using the ignore function and it's really helped.
