Underground focus

One of the focuses of the next drill programme is to deepen the CH-6 deposit.

I would recommend they also look at defining the pearls as well.

Here is my last underground concept --> UG concept 2

I just had a re-read of it and it still holds true today as it did when I wrote it.

The problem with an underground scenario in most cases is that you  start off with 1 portal, 1 single heading that can advance anywhere between 70 metres to 120 metres per month (mostly depending on ground mechanics).  The Canadian is pretty decent for ground control....so you may push closer to 100 metres per month.

The scenario that I have laid out instantly creates 3 active headings...not just 1 single heading.
So, you can theoretically develop up to 300 metres per month in ramp development.

That means you can get to ore stoping as quickly as possible.

LONG...PGD

Also...there is no way in h$ll that CH-6 would ever put a shaft in. It makes absolutely zero sense. Maybe they can install a vertical conveyor...but no shaft....even if they are able to ramp down to 1 km below surface...a shaft makes zero sense. The other cluster - ch7, ch44,45,46, ch1, ch31 -- There is a long term possibility of a single shaft in theory..but Chidliak is going to be in ...more

I must admit I was not a close follower of this play in the early stages, and at one point even asked what does the string of pears mean as it is not a term used in diamond exploration, I think you provided the answer for me Mike. It seemed at that time there was a lot of discussion surrounding that area, not so much now...is there a reason why? again thx in advance.

They know the pearls are there. It is pure economics. If you want to extract 2000 carats out of one of the pearls...it is going to cost $$'s. You would gain some NPV...but spending more $$'s on CH-6 proper and deeper will give you a lot more NPV bang for the $$. That is it. When they have the LDD RC Drill onsite and a mobile DMS unit installed...I would imagine they will be putting ...more
