Beautiful federal money. One of the problems that came out in an article last week is the chicken and egg theory. North lacks skilled labour. Fed gives $$'s to start a program to start training people. Organization cannot find enough skilled labour to set up and run the program. Priceless. Here is the article --> Article Link "When I say limited capacity, I mean I'm by ...more

Hey Ekim I just want to correct you on one thing. The Feds never "gave" the money to the Inuit they were sued in court for not living up to their obligations as stated in the Nunavut Lands Claim Agreement. Tunngavik had to fight for it ;) and will probably have to fight for more to keep the Feds honest!

"Key features include the proposed creation of a single agency to oversee the review of major projects in Canada, more indigenous consultation, a stronger focus on the impact of projects on climate change and cumulative environmental impacts, quicker project review timelines, changes to a list that defines which projects must undergo review and greater projection of waterways." Cudj, why the hate on for Canada? I’m a BC’er from birth and take a little exception to your reference to eco Nazi’s as a description for those group of individuals. I wouldn’t exactly call Greenpeace for one, as Nazi’s.  Sure they did some drastic protests, but Nazi’s? Cmon.

??? kodi, no hate on for Canada, some of my family and best friends are Canadian, but, some of the rules your putting in place now to block investment and progress while on the surface may seem reasonable,  are actually counterproductive, unbalanced and ill-advised from an investors point of view.  Why no comment on the rules?  No comment on the one country in the world where the ...more

No rebuttal is attributable to either of those diatribes Cudjo. Just because we are not "you", in your humble opinion, does not require Canadians to follow your every whime. Please continue building the walls and when everything becomes too expense, and all your resources have been squeezed out (fracking for instance) we will see you on the other side. Oh, some of my best friends are ...more

Cudj,  my only issue with your post was the Nazi moniker.  That’s it. That’s all.  You have the right to do so, free speech and all,  as do I to rebuke your words as unacceptable to me.  Not it a big deal, just a disagreement.
Comment by cudjo on Feb 12, 2018 5:31pm
no worries kodi, Nazi is a charged term for some, wont use it again here, will stick to eco terrorist, as for shneps, surprising, didn't peg you as one, but then as a narrow minded radical leftie the only way to argue valid points is with insult and not well reasoned discource.  By the time you believe America will come begging, and paying market price for your oil, which will be never ...more

Prediction:  finance announcement this week

before, during or after a resource update.  The resident expert sees another rights offering, I agree, what is your expectation?  Good luck

NWB hasn't rubber stamped the 2 trenches yet. They have until 19th.  I don't think any partnership or other options will be announced until that is cemented. Don't think anything will be rushed out for the end of the week...even if the rubber stamping comes out tomorrow. LONG...PGD EKIM
