2-4 weeks out before the next PEA expected, this is going to need some legs soon if no partner and another new rights coming shortly after for some work this summer.  Good Luck.
Comment by Irishpotluck on May 16, 2018 10:55am
morning cudjo......I agree with you....im wondering if you think valuation ($$$) of diamonds if exceptional will be the only info that may come other than a backer.....the rest of the senario i feel align with your way of thinking. more shares lower price. I think this is the card they will play to get attention before pea with no backer...more shares for the dms plant.....did you see star ...more
Comment by cudjo on May 16, 2018 11:54am
thanks irish, the valuation of their diamonds is very good, and they have a high % of clears, PEA will be what we think $$$, is in the ground.  Nice catch on Star, symbol diam for anyone who cares to look.  Interesting there is no price in the NR, may be in the next financials but it would be nice to get a current, in your face, price for a DMS plant.  If no backer, the next step is ...more

The "NEXT" step is most certainly NOT a full FS. It is further exploration of the pipes that have shown economic potential (Ch1 and Ch44?) - and maybe after those are understood a full FS on Childiak. This in my opinion of course but I do know what I am talking about. Cudjo, by and large, does not - but he likes to repeat what he does not know over and over and over and over again.
Comment by mill44 on May 16, 2018 2:25pm
The "NEXT" step is most certainly securing funds. If those funds won't come from the outside, it won't matter to the shareholders what they do with the money.
Comment by cudjo on May 16, 2018 2:47pm
again, mil is correct and schocor it seems will be happy with over a billion shares or more outstanding and another 10 years before this ever goes into production, what he is missing, and he is clueless when it comes to  simple economics here, is 6&7 can make a profitable mine, and all the rest can come afterward while jingle is in the companies jeans, new pipes will extend a mines life ...more
Comment by schocor on May 16, 2018 3:43pm
Sizing a mill for future throughput is important - as such, understanding what your mine feed will be is important as well. To this end, the FS is not the next step - exploration is.
Comment by mill44 on May 16, 2018 3:54pm
When you have no money you will be forced to cut corners. They need to find a balance between what's best for the project and what's best for shareholders, and that includes all, not just them. Complete knowledge of what's at Chidliak would be perfect but how will you achieve that when you have no money? Robert is 70 years old and the only source of money for PGD. How long can they ...more

How can they continue to explore like this? Seems the answer is really kinda simple and in the mirror Mill.
Comment by schocor on May 16, 2018 5:56pm
Well PGD clearly needs money to advance the project - regardless of what you define "advance as" this the case. The market for junior miners is the pits at the moment and ahs been for a while. When a ship gets into a storm, they "park it sideways" and ride out the storm - and you could argue that what PGD management has been doing here for the last 3+ years.
Comment by robybob on May 16, 2018 6:00pm
It was a Dec 2016 that in a conference call they said they were talking to a company who was interested, thought they had a deal but the entities HQ pulled unexpectantly.   A deep pocket partner would not pony up just to do more exploration, the only reason would be to put 6 and 7 into production as soon as possible, remember what they represent, and then explore the other kms.  That ...more
Comment by schocor on May 16, 2018 6:08pm
That deep pocketed Dec 2016 company was Dominion Diamonds; who were in the process of a company killing strategic review at the time. YOu do highlight that the marketplace for diamond mines is NOT very deep. Rio, DeBeers, Alarosa(?)....we need to get one of these guys to finance this great deposit into an operating mine.
Comment by griefman on May 16, 2018 6:42pm
At this point, none of you are wrong and none of you are right...same old, same old. Lest you forget the whole reason to have a stock market was for companies to raise capital from the many little investors to the few large investors. If the large investor is not interested, then the company looks to the mnay little investors.  Thats the way Its been designed since the beginning and ...more

schocor,  Dominion Diamonds?... show me that NR please, now who is making up stuff?  either that or your an insider and everybody here should start running for the hills.  Good luck.
Comment by schocor on May 17, 2018 11:02am
Cudjo it was Dominion Diamonds. It wouldn't be completely accurate to call me an insider.
Comment by cudjo on May 17, 2018 11:21am
if you know this to be a fact schocor, then you have to be an insider or were fed insider information, something we should take up with the exchange???
Comment by schocor on May 17, 2018 11:35am
Cudjo - sure call the exchange on schocor from stockhouse who is telling you he is NOT an insider. That will work well. OR, maybe, take the info and use it to your benefit.
Comment by cudjo on May 17, 2018 12:07pm
your really not that insightful schocor, the compalint, would be against PGD for supplying insider information to outsiders, who have posted it here as facts.  Suggest you do some dd on how these things are treated, both on SH and on the exchange.  Good luck.
Comment by griefman on May 17, 2018 5:47pm
Schocor gave us a clue: ”It wouldn't be completely accurate to call me an insider.” Thus a conclusion could be made that he/she worked or did work for Dominion, or knew/knows someone who does/did, and not Peregrine.  So so one could make the argument, at least, that there was some kind of inside info shared or was common knowledge within the company.  I would think that that is a ...more

Slippery slope? What happens if someone happens to know Patrick Evans fairly well and he let them know at one point in time, that DDC was looking at buying PGD? Mining is a small industry, that operates in small towns. I am no securities lawyer, but I don't think sharing inside info is illegal - acting on it is.

“I am no securities lawyer, but I don't think sharing inside info is illegal - acting on it is.” NOT acting on it is just as illegal?
Comment by mill44 on May 17, 2018 8:04pm
Schocor this is from the criminal code: Tipping (2) Except when necessary in the course of business, a person who knowingly conveys inside information that they possess or obtained in a manner referred to in subsection (1) to another person, knowing that there is a risk that the person will use the information to buy or sell, directly or indirectly, a security to which the information ...more

The funny part is that the opposite might be true. If Eric tells me to buy and I go ahead and load up, he will go to prison and I might not. https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-46/section-382.1.html If you read the paragraphs, it does not say anything about obtaining and using information through personal relationships.

rob, may be a good strategy to exit if you believe there is no partner coming to save this project. One thing to remember about SH, it is full of scammers.  Remember schocor is a poster who is clueless about mining in the north, his claim that he knows anything is highly suspect.  If you need proof go look at his post here berating me about drilling or taking samples in the north in the ...more

Cudjo - your rambling post is too long to read; BUT Can you explain how you are getting cheap oil from Canada? I know you are not (transportation economics my friend), so this will be fun to watch you explain your nonsense to the board.
Comment by cudjo on May 18, 2018 11:07am
I assume your a Canadian schocor, if you do not know about the huge discounts you give to us for your oil, we are your only customer afterall, because your politicians, supported by the greenies who are funded by us, are blind, then I can't save you, do some dd my friend, then you will possibly understand.  Sure, its all in transportation costs, that is too funny, good luck.  Rob, if ...more
Comment by schocor on May 18, 2018 11:12am
The oil is cheaper IF YOU BUY IT IN ALBERTA. Add the train transport costs to get it to a hub and you get the same price. It is called arbitrage CUdjo - you are stupid. The American school system has failed you
Comment by cudjo on May 18, 2018 11:17am
continue to drink the koolaid offered up by schocor here, you continue to bring a knife to gun fight schocor, your loss is our gain.  For those who really want to know, as schocor is the one here in need of an education, take a look at the chart here, from the lonelyheartsclub of the CBC, makes CNN look like radical rightwingers, lol https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/wti-wcs-gmp-dwarkin-rseg ...more

Comment by schocor on May 18, 2018 11:21am
READ the article Cudjo - the oil is cheaper because there is a glut of oil in Alberta. Transporting it out ADD (more $$) to the cost of the oil. By the time it arrives at a refinerty the transportation arbitrage has been sucked out of the equation and the Canadian syncrude oil costs the same for comparable oil at the hub (WTi in texas) Kansas #2 in Kansas etc.
Comment by Kidlapik on May 18, 2018 10:59am
What do you mean they could not fill the rights? If my memory serves( and I have exercised my rights everytime) they have always filled their rights with substantial oversubscribing from existing shareholders.
Comment by shneps on May 18, 2018 11:08am
You are absolutely right Kid. There was not a single "backstop" shares issued to either the Friedlands or Sprott. Sprott merely got there shares for throwing their name into the mix.
Comment by cudjo on May 18, 2018 11:09am
your absolutley wrong shneps and kid, the second rights offer wasn't backed or filled completely, go do some dd, geezlouise, good luck
Comment by Kidlapik on May 18, 2018 11:20am
True enough Cudjo they tried to raise $7mil and they raised $5.5Mil; and those rights I exercised are up 40% so are the ones I bought in the next rights offering that was fully subscribed with heavy oversub. Maybe another rights offering maybe not. I am comfortable with my investment either way, being an American I can understand you are not as you cannot exercise rights. You should move on.
Comment by schocor on May 18, 2018 11:24am
Kid YEAH you are right - he can't exercise his rights!! No wonder he is bitter he casn't continue to hold his share of the company. This makes sense now.
Comment by cudjo on May 18, 2018 11:24am
thanks kidlapik, if you know me, have have been long and short here, very comfortable at the moment the rights offerings give me opportunites.  Currently long because I do think a partner is coming, we will see shortly IMO.  It ius good to have debate, thanks for keeping it to the facts and not name calling. Best of luck
Comment by mill44 on May 18, 2018 11:32am
Kidlapik, try to sell your shares from the rights, see how fast the 40% gain disappears. This will all be moot if Eric is right and the deal is done. Unfortunately, he was wrong the last 3 times. Maybe four and not three is the charm.
Comment by schocor on May 18, 2018 10:41am
Thanks for that Mill; certainly none that applies to the situation at hand.
Comment by shneps on May 18, 2018 10:57am
Insider information does not always come directly from an insider's face to face conversation. During the exploration/construction of both Victor and Gaucho Que, that I was involved with, you would be floored by the loose lipped personnel, open laptops on planes, in bars and restaurants. Even Griefman's mentioning of a company gathering and you are sitting next to them.
