diamond market and PGD fate

on paper PGD has a net value 10 times bigger than mkt cap . so why not acquired already? 
the most likely explanation i find  is that the whole diamond market is rigged with plenty of hidden supply(including synthetics)  and monopolistic price manipulations.  that is why nobody is buying PGD.
