Ask Size

So if the ask size on VIDA.WT is .195 with a size of 1000 and the next ask is .24 with size of 8000. What happens if I buy 3000 shares?

You would get a part fill unless you specify all or none in which case you would get none

Twice I've bought more than the ask size and the price never budged. On Friday the only volume was me for 3000. The exchange showed it as 3 x 1000 orders. I've only been trading for about 4 months and not heavily. Some things just don't make sense. Would that be the market maker or the company selling more?

You would have to put in a market buy to acquire partial at .195 and the rest at .24.  In a low volume trade like the warrants a limit purchase is very difficult to fill. If you want these shares your best bet is to do the math and purchase at .24. I personally think that’s a steal of a deal for these warrants.
