Be very careful, he already caused problems in the silver sector with bear creek. He might cause problems in the uranium sector. Issue with mining in general.

he won the election on promises that he would generate wealth for the Puno region via agriculture and mining. The system in Peru works following: federal taxes are re-distributed region-wise in relationship to what is generated in revenue in your region. As he is governor, he has no whatsoever authority on mining laws but he can definitely be pro-mining in a sensible way in order to get business ...more
