Let's see all the good things the company talks about happen. And then let's also see management give shareholders a fair shake. To do anything before these things occur is not a good idea. There are so many other plays out there in the investment universe, that IMHO, you can find something else.Jim

Jim Boy you have pushed out a couple of DOGS so plz stop preaching what people should or shouldnt buy.  You should put out a disclaimer if any of the companies you are promoting are paying you. You see BXR isn,t paying you so its a DOG right? If it would pay you what would you have said?

ISEEBLUE, a few points:- My blog is published. As such, you will see that in my jimrockford  blog I am  doing pretty da-n well - and am 6 for 6 over the last two years. If you'd tell me where you are published, we can go over your record and compare the two.- What is it re my opinions of BRX that you find lacking? Why don't we have have some logical argumentation re the subject/s ...more

Jimbo. There is nothing stopping you from publishing your opinions and your extensive DD may warrant you passing those opinions on to others.  But what I've noticed in some of your coverage is that you recommend stocks on the way up.  Thats a good thing.  Then during and after the spiral down we don't hear from you. At the bottom you reappear with heavy criticisms about ...more

In the case of MLM, which was about 5 years ago, I ended up breaking even. This was the case of a company that has great fundamentals and some great people - but the decision-maker, demonstrably, cannot do a deal. It should have been a very nice win and still might be if the Number 2 man ever takes charge. In the case of BRX, it was a huge win for myself and friends - and I was very vocal about it ...more

I'll stick up for Jrock completely, I was in this mess back a few years ago when it was still called Pemberton Energy.  I'm from alberta, so I know the gage area a little bit and know what it could do - read monster gas/oil wells.  I invested at 7 cents, and got out at 70 cents.  Jrock was around this whole time and a great contriubuter to the board.  ...more

Good comments Trev. I don't think this play is over either and wouldn't mind going on that ride. Just don't want my money tied up for a long term wait - doing enough of that already with this stock. Keeping an ear to the ground trying to hear of any plans for activity - but hear no hoofbeats!

BRX seems to have their fingers in a lot of pies, but not eating any of them. What about Viking? What about the Montey? What about the $50 LOC and producing property purchase? Now some gas in Gage that may be developped.Always something just about to happen, or in planning, but never followed through.I agree there is potential here, but look, another year gone by and what's accomplished?  A ...more

Another Year Gone By You Say ??I have been in this for close to 10 years and still no progress.   I called the office after there appeared to be doubts on the two wells in the Fairview area and was told by a female with a thick foreign accent that when they have news to report they would publish it otherwise she would not answer my questions.      ...more
