Shelf prospectus

Wondering what the advantage of registering a shelf prospectus actually does for the company ?

Thank you to along time shareholder for providing me this info. Breaks down what and why a "shelf prospectus" with some examples and reasoning...  Exploration and development stage mining and oil & gas companies generally finance operations through securities issuances until they become cash flow positive.  However, in volatile markets financing windows can open and ...more

So basically, it's a way to raise cash, and if I'm understanding it correctly, possibly more dilution.  The question I have is, why now, when they've just secured the $8M from our Boston friends?

Is it possible that they might enter a partnership and provide stock to that partner in exchange for funding of PhI?  I guess that might be an alternative to a JV or other revenue sharing agreement.  Since it is just PhI, there are not going to be any associated revenues in near term, so it kind of makes sense that some alternate form of value would be given to the partner.

When I invision a jv . I see a partnership where a credible pharmauctical that has been looking at  getting into that potentially lucrative Alzheimers s treatment , but just can't quite pull the trigger on going all in. The hesitation could be the constant failures that have taken their toll of numerous companies over the past 20 years. Get involved by sharing the costs of the clinical ...more
