Looks like we'll soon test "comfortable".  The Boston group decided to do the dirty work just under $2 so presumably that's within shooting distance of whatever they need to keep it listed, and will do so.   I had thought we were cruising in for a soft landing around $1.88 before the overshoot, but in the end it's all the same.

Once this took off a week or two ago, the group that naked shorted this last July got nervous and thought it best to cover that short.  That would be prudent imo as there was a ton of stock shorted.  I also think the stock got ahead of itself with thoughts that there was "some kind" of news coming out of the recent AAIC in San Francisco that didn't materialize, at least ...more

I assume anyone with the influence to hold a significant naked short would equally have the influence to cover it with the placement.  It's only illegal if you get caught and can't afford to fix it.  It's like Trump revaluing his loans, no harm no foul when everyone gets paid.
