permit progress

This is a reiteration of what I posted  a month ago: They are waiting for sign off from the Ministry on their draft Closure Plan and are completing the consultation process so they can proceed with construction. The Closure plan involves the financial assurance of cash needed for site restoration. The company knows exactly where they are in the permit process.

Nothing goes quickly; this is not going to the Motor Vehicle Branch and getting a licence plate.

Some should do a little more homework before having a conniption fit. Check this:

They are in the advanced exploration phase. They may start clearing overburden unless the "special people" complain for more 'con$ultation.' I'll let you figure out who they may be. and how that would affect the financial assurance.

I'm sure you are aware of this: Chris Dupont seems to have got along pretty well with the first nation peoples   excerpt "In order to instill a relationship with the First Nations, Explor will issue 500,000 common shares to both the Matachewan and the Mattagami First Nations."   https://www.juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-news/press-releases/355-tsx-venture ...more

Galleon wil have to move in lockstep with the agreements between FN and Lakeshore Gold across the road, and Cote Gold an hour down Hwy 144. They will need contingency plans A to Z to circumvent another group trying to move the goalposts: Google "Grassy Narrows lawsuit"

I think Sprott and Russell must have considered opposition it seems to always be the case   If you feel the project won't proceed, then sell.

You are either too dumb or you are just trolling this board. Yes, they did in fact make them dumber, after all you are here!

They would not have considered THIS opposition. You obviously didn't check out "Grassy Narrows mining lawsuit" and consider the implications.
Comment by peterj99 on Aug 10, 2024 8:40am
Bottom line: did you sell?

I've wasted too much time on your immaturity. You can join Craneton in Ignoreville. Enjoy your bunk beds.

Peterpuller69 has a serious problem with reality. He is  among other things living in the past or he is trying to take the place of cranestoned. I have him on ignore as well.

So, news and fear of this lawsuit have spread. I can see where it may result in a revamped claimstaking procedure. They will not tear up the Mining Act, but I can see much compromise on the horizon. However, Galleon is well past that part. The advanced permit process sequence repeatedly mentions negotiations with local indigenous factions. I would think those negotiations are well underway, if ...more

It is long past the time when Canada should be putting a lid on the whole "special people" stuff! We are all Canadians, we will continue to struggle to reach our potentials for success as long as government allows one demographic group to play against the others. No one is special, and we CAN'T fix some percieved injustice from 300 years ago with money! What we can do though, is ...more
