the deadline for the financing is very close

and no news at all about it. It is just not acceptable.

Personally I am not surprised. I expect they'll wait until the 11th hour on this one. All the NR's are handled in the same fashion. That said, as long as they work something out and we move forward without issue I could care less when they release.

Well said, Red. Thinking further, I do not think any of these guys has worked in a public company in the past. The board chair (Chet Morrison) , the CEO, the CFO etc all seem to have always been in private companies, highly independent. They know they own almost the whole company and we are of no interest to or use to them until it is time to raise funds through selling more stock. They probably ...more

With oil prices rising and the backlog of decommissioning work with the possibilities mentioned in the latest report of new contracts in the future would there be any reason that they would not be able to negotiate a reasonable financing term and rate?

Nothing that we have been informed about. They wrote down the value of reserves due to low prices. Higher prices will ultimately lead to re-recognizing those reserves on the books. That will help. Clearly decom work and oil prices are what determine cash flow. The one thing they have not told us about (that we know of) is the outcome of trying to bring the recently redrilled well into production. ...more

Three days left and still no reassurance from the company that they are working forward to secure financing. It looks like most stockholders are holding their breath. No one is buying but no one is selling either. Brexit did not help oil prices but nothing is changed. They are still using fuel so this drop on the barrel price should be temporary. Let's hope we hear something positive soon ...more

I don't expect any news this month. The share price reflects the very high risk with this stock.

They gave us a deadline of June 30 to secure financing. Do they not have to provide us with information regarding financing either on this date or prior too?

last year when the refinance and un feb they issue a new release to the tell there an issue over the refinancing... so I guess they would say something... but only my opinion, leggaly I dont know

I guess that a public company is obliged to report a such important financing to his shareholders. Otherwise it would not make sense at all.  I have sold a big part of my investment here because this stock is so risky. I transfer my money to the natural gas (HNU) and it is so profitable now.
Comment by fagiani24 on Jun 29, 2016 9:25pm
HNU down 23 cents today, down 50% in the last year. How could it be profitable? Lol
