CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 10, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PRD Energy Inc. ("PRD" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update on the status of its liquidation and the anticipated timing of its dissolution.

PRD is currently completing all acts required to liquidate its business. PRD's assets, as at December 5, 2019, were comprised of cash on hand of approximately $681,589. PRD has filed requests for tax clearance certificates with the Canada Revenue Agency and intends to complete the final distribution to PRD shareholders and the dissolution of the Company once the clearance certificates are received.

Received the final payment of about 4 Cents Canadian yesterday into my TD Waterhouse acct.  I don't think anyone should do any business with either Michael Greenwood or Graeme Ryder of PRD Energy officers ever again.    Certainly watch your pocketbook.  At the last filed financials on SEDAR in early 2017 we had about $1.1M  in Cash and Receivables.   With ...more

Sorry about that.   When are we going to get a Christmas present or some such from Becker Milk? They have been considering "strategic alternatives" for about 5 years on and off.    The leases on their Circle K locations have been month to month for years now also....... G&A as a % of operating income for their properties is surely excessive. Do you see any more ...more

  I gave up on Becker a few years ago which probably means a deal soon! ELF.TO E-L Financial is super cheap. Management has bought back about 30% of the float this year. Trades for 760, while liquidation value is more than double. It's effectively 25% life insurer (Empire Life) and 75% global stock portfolio so its market exposure at a huge discount to fair value.
