20 "China Concepts Stocks" Going Private in 2nd Quarter 2015

New trend ! As many as 20 China-based American public companies went private in the past quarter this year. GOMO, XUE, CO, WX, CMGE, TAOM, K3QD, JASO, DATE, QIHU, MOMO, to name a few. PUDA's name not seen. Another rumor these two days: a court-appointed organization/institute run by a man named Robert Sy(i?)den is working on suing, chasing or negotiating those run-away or "disappearing" CEOs of some China-based America-listed companies. Any confirmation or details? Mad57, how are you?

I am good! Yes it's true and has been true that a number of Chinese entities are proposing private conversions, however it may be questionable that all of these deals will actually materialize due to recent disruption's in the Chinese markets, venture cap firms and banks. Some years ago, Puda Coal was listed as one of a half dozen firms going private, in the same way that this 2015 list ...more
