It took a lot of years for them to figure out that there is no silver ore in their silver claim.
Looks like it may be headed back to a nickel and sale as a shell.
Q-Gold Resources abandons Peck mine in Arizona
2018-01-19 08:53 ET - News Release
Mr. J. Bruce Carruthers II reports
CROWN KING EXPLORATION PROGRAM
Q-Gold Resources Ltd. has received and evaluated assay results from the fourth quarter 2017 diamond core drilling program in the historic Peck silver mine complex near Crown King in Yavapai county, Arizona.
Three NQ diamond drill holes totalling 500 feet penetrated a significant conductive geophysical anomaly in vein No. 2 of the complex, attempting to duplicate the high-grade silver deposit contained in the adjoining vein No. 1. Vein No. 1 produced a reported 1.5 million ounces of silver in the 1880s. This has not been confirmed under National Instrument 43-101 standards.
Assay results received from the ALS USA Inc. revealed the presence of only minor quantities of silver minerals of no commercial value in microvoids in the host rock quartzite within a sequence of Proterozoic greenstone schists and metaquartzites.
As a result of its technical review, the company has decided to abandon its Peck complex exploration program and has released all of its property and exploration rights in Yavapai county and returned the properties to the various owners.
