Just in keeping with my blue sky imaginations here, here are some comparisons:
world's largest annual mine production: Freegold mine at 115 tonnes a year, = 4M oz a year produx
world's largest gold producer culmulative: Driefontein consolidated mine, at lifetime produx of 81M oz.
