Resolute Mining Tanzania operations

I believe Resolute Mining's gold operations in Tanzania are hard rock operations, which is usually much, more expensive than mining alluvial deposits. So, if Resolute is hard rock, then comparing  Resolute's costs and required grade to Ruby's alluvial operations and the grade needed for Ruby's profitability , would not be valid imo.

I understand your point, but it is not necessarily true. There are quite a few hard rock miners that are the lowest cost miners in the world, such as Medusa Mining at about $220 per ounce. ( Medusa does have very high grade).  The difference is there capital expenses was much higher to start but their continuing capex is low.  There are many low cost hard rock open pit miners in Africa ( ...more
