FEBRUARY

  • The goal is to select a new CEO through a rigorous process over the next few weeks, a dynamic individual with proven mining development credentials and deal making abilities to lead Atlas through this critical new stage of its corporate history;
  • In addition to recruiting a new CEO, Atlas will be taking other immediate and near-term steps to further strengthen its overall team and value proposition in anticipation of several potential catalysts in 2023.
Feb/21 ----  As anyone would know it takes more than a few weeks !  A little news wouldn't hurt at present . just sayig  BCRNW

Right on . These guys and their meaningless announcements just don't fly anymore. Their timelines are years not weeks so they should stop bullshitting stockholders with silly announcements. Amateurs holding a great resource.

I'm not adverse to management Re announcements about Atlas Salt as I pointed out previously the market is in termoil with higher interst rates and inflation cost for new projects. And they are dealing with very very tough negotiations on a potential buy out.  Only issue I've had is the dumb decision to spin out Triple Point.  The very fact that that is not trading proves how dumb ...more

Are they dealing with tough negotiations? If so shareholders have a right to know that. As it stands we drift lower and lower while nothing else happens.

I doubt very much they are negotiating a deal with anyone. We would likely have not seen a push for a new CEO if that was the case.

My view is that the new CEO is much needed in terms the possibility we have to devolop this ourselves. This is part of an overall strategy Re negotiations.  There are certainly suiters and there has been offers but in terms of offers I think the price is very low and nowhere near the needed 12.00 range needed based on the resource.   This is a brutal battle with companies who feel Atlas ...more

From who and what range?
Comment by Laruch12 on May 12, 2023 6:50pm
JETHRO, How would you know that and for what price if so?
Comment by Jethro980 on May 13, 2023 12:49am
I figure price was in 300 million range far short of realistic buyout.
Comment by Laruch12 on May 12, 2023 6:18pm
Why would that be?
Comment by general360 on May 15, 2023 9:41am
you want the government of NL to sign a memorandum of understanding / MOU to say what now?   when you're in business in 3-4-5 YEARS time, we'll DEFINITELY consider allowing you to submit a bid to supply NL with road salt?  signed by the premiere hisself?!  or do you want it to be a little more solid, say, we'll lock them into a price right now: we'lll supply you ...more

It's a solid start.
Comment by general360 on May 15, 2023 12:25pm
except business isn't run that way.  NOBODY signs an MOU w/ an entity that doesn't even have sales yet.  But who knows, maybe NL is in the business of signing docs to say we'll support buying from your company with no current operations, to a price you can't commit to years in advance, for a quantity you can't commit to either, or delivery which you've never done ...more
