Phoenix energy and Dividends

Just doing some reading, and noticed some details of the take over.
1. RMS Shares will will be .40c of a $10.75
2. Phoenix pays a 3% dividend bianually

I do beleive I will be holding onto the shares I haven't sold.
And yes GBC, RMS IS indeed history, however, within a Phoenix share, they will produce 2x a year. I'm ok with that!

I may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure "common shares" dont provide dividends. And PHX pays monthly dividends on their "preffered shares". It will be a "Minimum" of $0.40/share at the time of conversion I would expect a run before they convert...thats probably the best time to jump ship. I wouldnt expect the EDR from RMS to result in much more share value to PHX. ...more

I'm sorry to be rude but if you don't know that common shares pay dividends you should probably never invest your own money!  Of course common shares provide dividends.  Almost every dividend paying company pays the dividend from its common shares.  PHX doesn't even have pref shares outstanding.

Busted, perfect example of never take advice on investing from bullboards...lol PHX pays monthly dividends none the less, not bi-annually..;)
