Penny stock investment guru's will be quick to tell you that the longer you own forward looking valuated stocks, the more likely you are to loose. The last official press release from ROE is about how much they lost in the last quarter. Untill the company releases official material information, talk is cheap.

Talk is cheap, but they don't give their oil away !!!

Wow over from the IFR board to bash ROE? feeling a little Blue about your IFR investment? you want to talk about risk the fact that they drilled that well & didn't use the hype or promo the stock to do a capital raise was a huge mistake... so now what IFR is in need of cash & they put out some very Questionable porosity results and now they are in full promo mode but guess what the ...more

My opinion of IFR is no differant than ROE. Frankly, my opinon of IFR is even lower than ROE. Both company's need to post the results of thier forward looking promotional claims and untill they do, they will both be in the dog house.

It is not complicated, they keep drilling holes and the oil keeps adding up. No hype is the only risk factor.  best o' luck !

ROE and IFR are pretty similar right now in that neither has really proven a lot. ROE has way bigger upside with the Upper Jurassic.  ROE is either going way way up or stay here or down...all about the upper jurassic shale which has gigantic potential (remember to always ask "Why is LukeOil involved here?")

Agree with you Cheung, ROE's prospects are much brighter due to thier sizable land position, IFR has only one small block. The flip side is IFR has about a third of the shares out compared to ROE but IFR has only the one block. My metric is simple, oil is up over 50% and both these companys are down about 50% from thier highs in the same period, markets usually don't lie.

anymuse - you are right. Both ROE and IFR have not performed well for investors. IFR doesn't have the huge potential - waste of time investing in that. If you invest in junior oil companies you want the upside to be massive...otherwise invest in big oil and collect the dividend  Many issues outside of ROE's control but management indicates they are working hard.  It is all the ...more

"My metric is simple, oil is up over 50% and both these companys are down about 50% from thier highs in the same period, markets usually don't lie." I agree for the most part .  obviously part of the reason being the election and extra risk involved compared to other juniors operating in more stable jurisdictions. so with oil up so much there is a lot of money being made and ...more

The shorts are trying to dump 5000 shares in to pull the price down. Pushing it for about 30 mins now - really funny to watch
