High priced execs

These all stars are taking at least 7 million a year for themselves. Something to consider when touting an unvervaluation.

are you talking about Sprott Resource Corp???   Mgmt Fees and Compensation is about $1.1m total in the 6 months this year (june financials)

Yes, I should have been more clear. I was including all expenses, the point being that there is significant overhead. Probably for that reason and others these sorts of companies never trade for close to book value.

The finance expense should go away as the loan matures here in November and we have more than enough cash to pay off.   That was $700K for six months and the interest rate is 8%, no way should that be renewed at that rate to Sprott Lending.    The management fee is 0.5% of the quarterly NAV which has plummented.   Probably should be 0.5% of the average quarterly ...more

The reason I invested as I figured Sprott know way more then I will ever now about this type of investing.       I have a long list of failures and some hits   it's tough to wade play in this space.       I suggest you listed to the conference calls.   They look at 100's of deals per year .   I don't  ...more
