Jump in or not to jump in

Not even 3 hours of trading and the volume 6% of company shares changed hands, assuming somebody buys @.285 that gives app. 4,5% ROI on yearly base not too bad comparing to bonds. Virtually no risk, because of great asset base. Light oil trades at premium to WTI and recently the NG market has substantially improved comparing to last few quarters. From the trading perspective the SP been artificially suppresed in last months, whoever has been doing this lost quite few shares so there is that small possibility of another offer. Will have to crunch more numbers, before will jump in, but so far doesn't look too bad. Worst case scenerio 4,5% return on investment in couple of months.

If I understand the overview there are two major components to this offer. First is the debenture financing.  It is convertible at $0.25 per share so Brookfiield can exercise that option and further dilute shareholding by some 65% at a future date.  Second there is the takeover/going private offer at $0.30.  It seems also that in circumstances such as this non-tendering shareholders ...more
