prospects

New to this forum, and i recieved a tip about this company from a buddy i went to school with.

What is going on here, do we have a tremendous buying opportunity on our hands yet?

is this thing expected to dip a bit more?  I am trying to sift thru all of the posts but there is a lot of material to go thru

Gmarke, I am a long term shareholder in this company. My original investment was through Avenex before Tom forced the sale of it's prized asset and ran off with our money to form SpyGlass. If I were you, I would not buy any stock in this company until we see some positive news concerning our N.G. play at Noel... Gmarke, what exactly is your buddy saying about SpyGlass? Maybe he knows something ...more

What he was saying is that there have been talks of getting rid of the dividend and it has the market spooked. He is kinda hoping for the dividend to get removed so then the shares plummet and then he can buy 1000's of shares at a nice discount. I have been reading up a little bit and it seems the dividend is here to stay and that SGL is slowly but surely unloading non-core assests.

There's a $30 mil shortfall between yearly expenditures (capex $60 mil+ div $35 mil) and CF ($65 mil). The div is far from safe and could be totally eliminated.

You might want to read up a little bit more: 130 plus % all in pay out = unsustainable No decrease in debt despite non-core asset sales.  your buddy is onto something................. load up after the dividend cut.   I traded into LTS immediately after the divi announcement.  It has helped make up some of the year end tax losses that I took on this P.O.S.  Like Kherson - I ...more
