Potash is a crucial nutrient in modern agriculture that enhances crop yield, promotes plant health, supports balanced nutrition and contributes to sustainable agriculture. The fertalizer is an indispensable component for large-scale agriculture that sustains the global food supply for billions of people. As the prices of fertilizers and food continue to surge, the need for domestic potash production in the U.S. is becoming increasingly urgent.
Sage Potash Corp. (TSX-V: SAGE) is committed to advancing the domestic supply of potash to safeguard American food security. The company controls an 83,000-acre potash land portfolio in Utah's Paradox Basin which is known to host extensive world-class potash resources.
In accordance with historical exploration this land has identified an inferred resource of 159.3 million metric tonnes of potash grading 42.67% KCl for its upper potash bed, and 120.2 million metric tonnes grading 35.77% KCl for its lower potash bed.
The project is believed to be the largest undeveloped potash deposit in the United States and is well-suited for solution mining due to its high purity and optimal formation temperature.
SAGE has partnered with RESPEC to initiate a Phase 1 Drill Hole Program for the property and prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).
