Both potash and lithium play critical roles in today's world. Potash is essential for global food production, while lithium is a crucial component in the ongoing global energy transition.
As described in the video below, the mineral exploration company, Sage Potash Corp. (Ticker SGPTF or SAGE.v for Canadian Investors), possesses a significant land portfolio covering almost 90,000 acres in Utah's Paradox Basin. This area holds extensive untapped potash resources.
According to a comprehensive technical report, the project boasts an estimated combined resource of 279.5 million metric tonnes of Sylvinite Potash across both upper and lower potash beds.
Sage Potash Corp has also formed a subsidiary called Sage Lithium Corp, which focuses on exploring lithium and other minerals like boron, bromine, and potassium.
The next steps for SGPTF involve preliminary engineering towards releasing a PEA, feasibility study, and pilot production for its potash resource.
The company also aims to demonstrate that its project has lithium and boron resources comparable to nearby Anson Resources Limited's project, which has a 530 MT indicated resource grading 123 ppm Li and 3,474 ppm Br.
With a substantial potash resource and promising lithium potential, SGPTF is embarking on an exciting path.
