A new 52 week low.

I'm surprised it took this long to breach the longstanding 6 cent low.  *********************************************************************************************.  The 5 to 5.5 cent level should remain the new 52 week low for 6 to 9 months-----after that I predict 4 cents until after a FS and funding direction.  *********************************************************************************************.  FRANK.

come on Frank, it was a 12,000 share trade, TD selling to TD for a total value of $660. Let' put things in perspective! .

Watch and learn my friend.  *********************************************************************************************.  6 cents has been breached/tested.  With the current strategy----5 cents will eventually fall as well.  Sad (perspective) but true.  *********************************************************************************************.  FRANK.

Also true that they can  be at a dollar in a couple years too.  Hold your head up and don't forget what we are here for.  Sad times but our global economy needs diamond exploration.  There is a reason for this all.

Agree   I just keep thinking if somehow you could turn the clock back 40 years ago and all of a sudden pick up a copy of the Globe & Mail Business section and read a story about a small exploration Company just potientally discovering a diamond mine the stock would have shot up 200 to 300 %.  Then factor in that it could take many more years and to drill and gain permits and ...more

Star has spent around $900m to date and I believe RIO spent around $250m. So $1.15B in total and currently market cap of the company is $35m
Comment by Midtown007 on Aug 19, 2024 10:09am
Wow !   thanks for posting although I didn't realize it would be that high.  so our current markert Cap is trading about 1/30  of what has been spent.
Comment by ScotUK on Aug 19, 2024 12:10pm
I guess that's why nobody is interested in investing in SDC. .
Comment by MrBinks on Aug 20, 2024 12:01am
1/30? Can you explain a little more about what this means and what is the "markered cap"? thx
Comment by ScotUK on Aug 20, 2024 8:57am
The Market Capital value is the share price x number of shares issued so 0.05 x 650m. So the market values the company at $34m after spending $1.2billion on exploration .
Comment by FRANKtheTANK on Aug 20, 2024 9:08am
and guess what the Market is not wrong.  In fact, many seem to forget that the overspending of the early days and also the RIO days was massive.  Many shareholders, experts, and even our own leaders questioned RIO's methods etc etc etc. *********************************************************************************************.  It simply looks  very desperate when people ...more

Diam is greatly undervalued. Every step forward at this late stage is more important than the previous. Securing funds to get us through to the end of the FS is being diligently worked on by Mgmt. My belief is that is a when this happens scenario, not should it happen. Current Mgmt has rekindled my faith as of late. Also securing financing to get us through the BFS, but not FS makes zero sense ...more

Ewan!? Do you have anything planned to boost this stock back up ?
Comment by ScotUK on Aug 03, 2024 9:15am
Maybe he could buy a couple of million shares at this bargain price!
Comment by FRANKtheTANK on Aug 03, 2024 10:21am
Why buy shares at this time----when you have 5ish years to get them at rock bottom levels?  Maybe even sub 5 cents?  *********************************************************************************************.  Even after FS is done, the risk of this being shelved is significant. *********************************************************************************************.  ...more

Love all the "cross trades" and I agree with the prospect of sub sonic pricing.  I was an investor in which had the Buffalo hills,I think it was Ashton mines...  I knew there were big things there.  I just felt it...  this sh t is all rigged for the ritch and it is their game we play.  Swimming with the sharks. Will they bankrupt "star diamond"(shore ...more

You are absolutely right, unless a big partner signs with us and contracts a mine startup this could easily go past .05 as td and others are working it hard.   With an over 70 year life to look forward to and Rio owning a vast swath of"undilutible"shares they don't need to do anything until scooping everything at pennies.  I don't think Rio will be any kind of ...more

That is the billion dollar question. Extremely difficult to apply value to all the other pipes in the Falc. The list of potential buyers at that scope and scale even more difficult to find. Sell part, some or all? Shares are tightly held. Between Rio, Newmont, previous and current Mgmt. I haven't done the math but maybe half the float. If there was interest Rio has the option to match I ...more

Lots to take into account with a buyout.  The tax credits is around 200M and theres also the potential of carbon tax credits as well.  Whoever buys the company will get a substantial discount further down the road. Plus the diamond, minerals, gravel etc

If I could get .50 a share I'd count it as a win, although not worth the stress on my family.  If star could keep control of it and proceed I'd end up rich like Warren Buffet.  Do u know what would have happened if u bought $100 of Starbucks 20 years ago?
