Could Barrick Gold be involved with Sixth Wave?

Barrick Gold has decided to proceed with MPS' glycine - which, remember, is what Sixth Wave's systems are designed to work with.

The March 1, 2022 NR mentions interest from a "Major Canadian Gold Mining Company":

The article says Barrick will start rollout with mine in Tanzania. The Sept 2021 NR says "...Phase 3 testing will involve the design of a process circuit that validates the performance of IXOS® and GlyCat™ in a full-scale pilot plant at an operating gold mine in Canada."

The MDA dated Dec 28/22 says: At the conclusion of the [phase 1 &2] testing it was anticipated that the gold mining partner would move to a larger pilot scale demonstration at one of their properties. As of this date, there has been no defined pathway forward as a suitable location has not been identified. Sixth Wave continues to work with MPS to identify other possible sites for ...more

Given what we know about IXOS abilities and limitations so far, why should the site for testing IXOS need to be so specific?

It seems like Sixth Wave needs a "suitable" site (e.g. the entire system/"paradigm" of production must be oriented for their tech to be ideal) to the point that it questions its true market potential. Nonetheless none of all of what is specifically outlined in the article or in SIXW's NR excludes the possibility that Sixth Wave could be engaged by Barrick as a result of ...more

Iscfa, Looks like IXOS should work with, and is even ideal for this specific situation in which GlyCat and Barrick are involved. Earlier, I made a post about a topic called "Resin Balls", a forum thread from a place about gold discussion. Several replies to the OP of the thread by a forum mod suggested Ion Exchange resins were less than ideal. Among the criticisms: -Glycine is more ...more
