Pref Shares - Post-Announcement Trading

It looks like the Arbs have finished setting up their positions.  SJR.PR.A traded 38% of outstanding shares in the first week since the announcement.  SJR.PR.B traded 43% of shares outstanding.  Mostly in the first three days.  So it looks like the top for SJR.PR.B is $21.40 until the takeover circular is published.  If they wanted to do anything different than the news release, such as convert SJR.PR into RCI.PR, then it would be disclosed in that document and put to a vote by Pref Shareholders.

I tried to buy some SJR.PR.B yesterday at $19, but volume is back to its old "thinly traded".  So I gave up.  The price could dip if someone wants out, but there probably isn't much on offer to be worth watching for it.
