Why do you assume that? Isn't there share dilution as outstanding shares will be doubled. Won't the value of a share go down due to this?

the price of the shares will most likely go down, but the value of the share you own will not.

That makes zero sense. If the share price falls so does the value of your shares. Do not listen to the ones trying to mislead others.

it makes perfect sense, you are just not understanding it. the price per share drops in half after you have twice as many shares, therefore the value of your shares is the same.

exactly!!!! I would think that the SP might fall quiet a bit before that happens in-fact... not sure if they will change the name before the split thou???? mining investors maybe be thinking on getting rid of the shares vs MJ  believers.

The day the split happens your shares will be automatically worth half of what they were the day before ( yet to be determined) but you will have twice as many. Same as how a reverse split works only opposite. Grade 2 math. Some will continue to try and convince you you are doubling your money though.
