2011-SLTA Will make multi-millionaires out of some of us: )
SLTA vein was drilled in the 90's. Penoles after observing the drill cores & pre-drill exploration data estimated: 500,0000 to 2000,000 oz @ different depths. It was a shallow drill program. 2100 meters if my memory is serving me correctly. I read the reports a few years ago.
Fabio's geo-chem work in 2008 (the market doesn't hold these in high regard) reported potential for several million 0z's on the vein & surface. Fabio told me he relies allot on geo-chem data. With his back-ground (Economic geo) who was I to argue.
I have also talked to Kevin Ashworth another (economic-geo) and Fabio's adviser & fellow board member, he mentioned he has seen geology like this on other properties, he said the properties held millions of oz's of gold.
Lets see what the bulk samples say. G.Lakes comment in the article on their web-site stated if the due-diligence being done is up to quality & production #'s there would be a 1000,000ozs headed to Italy. I don't think GL pulled that # out of hat. The test work done before the "official" bulk samples proved very positive & Gold was recovered in gaged amounts of ore going through the process ( mine equipment tests ) Fabio & GL have those #'s. They are not official lab-data though so they were not made public. The official #'s will be out in a few short weeks or less...At that point we will know where we stand as shareholders. As operators GL & Fabio know they are on to something BIG!
