Thats less than $5k dollars. Who even cares about 5K dollars??? I mean dont get me wrong; good for him though since they are paying themselfs so much money its nice to see them put a bit of it into their weak stock. :D F.................

Hey, as we wait patiently for this train to depart, it's good to sit back and not take this stuff too seriously. Goerge doesn't have to worry about winter tires, that's why he had the cash to buy some VID shares. badfish, you're better off with the tires. LOL ;-)

One thing to note Data.  Read Tor's note on how the company converted Difference Capital debt to shares at as high as 20 cents.  Imagine if they could issue a new convertible with share conversion at the same price.  My bet anyhow.  They did it once already.

Converts are an interesting product. Half way between equity and debt. There is lots of demand from institutional guys for converts, and very few new issuances. It is interesting to note that for institutional investors, anything below a $50M offering is considered small, and inst. investors rarely participate in a deal below this threshold. datasleuth, I know who Difference Capital is. The VID debentures bear 12% interest. Do you know how high that is? New issuances forREAL convert deals are priced between 5 and 6%. Again, VID is wayy to small for a deal like this, but they are probably better off issuing straight equity, as the cost of capital will be lower than 12%. Yes, a little more security for debenture holders but typically ...more
