Can someone explain this

So they have big backlog sales...... so video's ordered but yet to be produced. They have $1M of employment costs for a quarter......but can only produce $190K of actual revenue for a quarter to be recognized yet they backlog over $1M? What....do these people do for their wages? That and they are letting payables increase and they sure have an awesome quick ratio........
