How to buy shares in Sunniva
With the low float and add to the fact that very few who want to sell at this price point, you would end up waiting all day and most likely days on end if you put a limit order below the ask price.
So, unless you have all the time in the world staring at the computer and waiting and waiting to get your order filled, there is no way in hell you can buy shares in this company like you would of other company's shares.
You just have to face that fact and accept it.
Paying 5-10% or even 15% more for a quality company is nothing if you keep the end goal in view - which is easily, as I see it, $100+ within the next 9 months.
What that means is:
1. You would get your fill at a higher price than what you desire
2. Any positive news will get the share price jump up in dollars, not cents
3. I see next catalyst as an agreement(s) with distributors in Calif and/or LPs in Canada (Calif first)
4. Any bad news, then sp will move down in dollars (but this is highly unlikely but I want to throw that in as a balanced view). The bad news could be (very unlikely) delays in Calif facility construction, MJ crop getting bad due to disease, Calif Growers Assoc drawing out legal battles against 1+ acre farms, etc. All highly unlikely, but then again, these risks remain for everyone in Calif, not just Sunniva. Just as risks remain in Canada with delay in rec legalization, crop going bad, etc.as an example.
PS: There is a reason a Merc/BMW/Audi costs more than Nissan/Hyundai. You pay for quality.
Like a friend of mine says "buy quality for a higher price and cry once; or buy cheap stuff for a lower price and cry forever".
So don't fret over paying more for Sunniva. Try to see the forest from the tress...or should I say...try to see the green from the weed.

Last time I posted on this board I said I’d buy in the next valley. Put a bid in for 13 when it was at 16 didn’t look at it and just like magic it got filled. Your logic is flawed everyone know all stocks pull back after a gap up. Patience is what wins in stocks.

Worked put well for you, that's good. Easy to say it was going to happen now though, your right they always pull back at some point but the question is when? Could have went to 20 and pulled back to 16 or 25 and back to 20. or pulled back from where it was to 14. No one has a crystal ball here but you called it right here, congrats.

HansonLockyear: You obviously have no idea how this trades on the OTC (SNNVF). There is no need or place for personal attacks but there is a need for meet to put you on ignore. There. Done! See ya.
