question?

if a Canadian company holding US assets is prevented from being on the TSX then can I assume SNN will not be able to trade on the TSX? When legalization happens, they will miss a lions share of billions in the mutual fund money that will flood into the MJ stocks. does this concern anyone???

That is the rules currently, however depending how legalization goes in the U.S that could easily change. The issue isnt U.S assets but U.S MJ Assets. Legalization seems to be moving in the right direction down there so I am putting my bet on we are able to get on the TSX eventually.
