California Vs. Canada

The Catherdral City facility will be 489,000 sft yielding 100,000 Kg and is on 19 acres of land.
The Okanagan Falls, Canada facility will be 700,000 sft yielding the same (100,000 Kg) and is on 126 acres of land.

Questions:
1. Why is the Canadian facility yield same as that from Calif, even though the Canadian facility is 43% more in square footage?
2. Why was the need to purchase 126 acres, which is more than 6 times bigger than the Calif site?
3. I have not seen any mention of extraction in Canada. Is extraction only in Calif, which is going on as we speak?

So I am still puzzled as to why the output is the same from both sites. My guess is that California will be able to produce more per square foot due to better weather.  2. 126 acres is really a lot, even considering future expansion ...more

I could be wrong, its been awhile since I've read investor materials but I thought the "total" space of each facility is supposed to be 700k sqft. which would include office space, packaging, all the non-greenhouse areas. I would also agree with Cali being able to produce more based on weather. They probably get year-round conditions suitable to grow. As where in Canada we have ...more
