Re dividends. On South Bow web site they expect to announce on November 7 a $0.69 cent dividend paid on January 31 to shareholders December 31.
If that happens that is annual dividend of $2.76 I expect TRP dividend would then be roughly $0.82 or $3.288 per year.
The $3.288 dividend assumes there is no increase to the TC Energy dividend.
If you do the math on 1000 shares of TC Energy before the spinoff you would have received $3,840 annually.
Post spin-off the 1000 shares of TC Energy will pay $3,288 annually.
South Bow 200 shares will pay $552.00 annually.
Together the dividends total $3840 or roughly 14% Southbow 86% TC Energy.
