$28 opening day with a possible 69 cent quarterly dividend?

I bought in at $28 opening day here for SOBO, with their presentation showing an inaugural dividend of .69 cents/quarter. This would mean an 9.85% yield if their November 7th dividend declaration is 69 cents.

Next year they will have payout for dividend 125%  ( from  corporation presentation on September 2024).

I believe their dividend will probably flatline at 69 cents until they reach their net debt target, then continue with the dividend aristocrat structure TC Energy has always had in place. So getting a dividend at over 9%, other pipelines would take many years to catch up to that yield on cost, so I'm feeling pretty good to hold on and get paid every quarter on this type of infrastructure.

Hi guys, questions... I haven't paid too much attention to this lately, it slipped under my radar, I have a modest trp position but am interested in increasing the sobo if it truly will have a 9.2% dividend.  I understand that they will declare a dividend in November; where do we see a 69 cent dividend discussed at this point?  None of the sites with ticker info like yahoo have info

Ok, yes I read the online presentation and its a usd 50 cent dividend.  Hope that payout ratio is realistic.   I cant see a 9% canadian pipeline not getting large investor interest when comparing to the alternatives.

I already sold TRP so apparently won't be getting the SOBO shares.  Was debating putting half the TRP money into SOBO. Maybe worth waiting until current TRP shareholders get their SOBO spinout shares as it wouldn't be unheard of for there to be an intial high level of selling driving the price down.  Thoughts?

No one knows what these shares are worth? So it's anyone's guess what you should do? I bought a half position.

Thank Thimebuilder1 Oxygenation working pretty well on me  Since we are followig and invested in the same mid cap just to tell you that I bought some EFX yesterday and just after buying at $ 8,34 it sunly surge and is now at $ 8,85.and now in a clear breakout I'm not complaining  about Savaria action .
