Update on the Portland Oregon dealership location
Good morning everyone.
By now probably most investors are aware of the civil unrest and rioting in Portland Oregon that has been occuring night after night. All indications are that the Black LIves Matter protests have been infultrated by what one can only describe as professional rioters and looters taking advantage of the situation to carry out acts of indiscriminate looting, robberies and physical assaultson unsuspecting bystanders.
With this in mind I sent an email to SOLO,s Investor Relations people to enquire how the company was viewing the situation in light that Portland is one of the three locations that will see delivery of the first production run of Solo vehicles due to arrive in the US sometime in November or December. Here is an excerpt from the reply email that I received from SOLO. The reply came from Mr. Sam Duke of Gateway Investor Relations.
Quote: " Thankfully ElectraMeccanica's Portland-based location, which is set to open on September 1, 2020, is located approximately 10 miles away from downtown at the Washington Square Mall in the upscale suburb of Tigard. To this point, the Washington Square Mall has been immune from the civil unrest and looting/vandalism happening in downtown Portland. We can assure you that the Company remains committed to the protection of its inventory and is engaged in frequent communication with property managers on-site."
Thankyou,
SAM DUKE

Thanks for the update Hintonkid. I have a position in GreenPower Motor (GPV) and have been looking at SOLO. How do you think they willl compare going forward. GPV is buses and delivery as SOLO is the one person car, with the Covid less people wan to commute in multiples so I think SOLO timing is good fairly cheap to purchase and no worries of crowding with others and still EV green.
