The Strategic Alternatives and Operating Committee is chaired by Mike Mulica and includes Sonim board members Sue Swenson and Ken Naumann, all three of whom have extensive CEO and turnaround experience in the communications equipment industry. The committee was formed to consider options and strategies to better support the needs of Sonim's customers and to consider alternatives to maximize long-term shareholder value.

"Leveraging Mike, Sue and Ken's experience and considerable talents is paramount to returning the company to a strong market position and creating long-term shareholder value. We now have the right skills and leadership to support this objective going forward," said John Kneuer, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Seems like there was "conflict" and perhaps "of interest" at the board level with the direction.

Mr. Wilkinson had backing of many including from 180 Capital

“We are excited to have the opportunity to act as the anchor investor in SONM’s public offering and to be a large shareholder of the company,” said Kevin M. Rendino, Chief Executive Officer of 180. “We are especially pleased to be invested in SONM’s management team led by its CEO, Tom Wilkinson.

My prior fund, RGJ Capital, was a significant shareholder in Tom’s prior company, Xplore Technologies Corporation (“XPLR”). Under his leadership, XPLR’s business was dramatically improved and the company was ultimately acquired. We have confidence in his abilities as an executive to engineer a similar turnaround at SONM.

Xplor was acquired by Zebra.

Looks like Robert is the President, COO, & CFO. And Ken now is no longer with SONM... https://ir.stockpr.com/sonimtech/sec-filings-email/content/0001193125-21-219703/d183949d8k.htm
