Trump will need votes, my bets are him laying out a plan just before next election, which sees the Feds getting their cut to pay off x, y, z promises, and buy the dope vote. 

That said, the biggest issue US has....the giant elephant in the room w Pot and USA....all the money that will be lost by the big corps who own, and HIGHLY profit from keeping ppl in jail!

here we are pardoning ppl for "gay" crimes, and now throwing out pot cases...how does the US deal w pot convictions if the decriminalize or legalize???

I believe there is more money to be made with the MJ business. The prison are getting paid by the government for each criminals inside, I suppose that if the Warden has some politicians/Judges buddies, they'll get a cut, but in the end, the government is losing cash. In the other side, with the MJ business, the government could put a tax on that and earn money off of it and for those "

No. Point is, here, our jails aren't run for profit, so we know simple pot possession is not jail time, we will have many pardons fast tracked and be ok w it, in the USA....jails are full of pot possession "criminals", how will the US deal w that? It's going to take a long time for them to sort it out...
