Looking good!

A close above 0.37 with today's volume would be great for the short term. Solid quarterly earnings and a successful close of Green Therapeutics would put us back above 0.50 by October no problem.

I don't think (based on what I've heard management say about these types of deals) that we will see Green Therapeutics close until October.  It just takes a long time to close deals, you have a lot of admin and transferring of licenses, legal paper and such.  It should close though it just takes time. I do think we'll be back to the $.50s regardless of that one single deal ...more

Yes fair enough. Mid-September would mark 6 months from the initial LOI which from my understanding is a pretty standard duration to close on a business of GT's size. Two other major September factors that I'm looking forward to include deployment of extraction equipment at their new labs and (hopefully) US rescheduling cannabis.  Bottomline, LOTS to look forward to.

Is there anything other than the FDA approval of the cannabis medication for seizures that would lead you to believe rescheduling of cannabis would be coming? Especially as soon as September?? I mean I'd love it if it happens but just can't see it

I'm not sure that you need more than that reason... FDA approval is admission that they've scheduled cannabis incorrectly. I thought I had read somewhere that they had max 90days to make the correction. So yes September would be a bit optimistic but optimism is what these boards are for. From a purely political standpoint though, Trump has been in some hot water lately, even more so than ...more

As much as I wish a contradiction in the scheduling by the FDA would be a good sign, that anti seizure medicine is produced with CBD, which may lead to the rescheduling of CBD itself but they won't do it for Cannabis. Hemp industry has been pushing for that for a looong time as it still seems to fall under state rights in the farming act but I'm semi unclear on the ins and outs of that ...more

All very good points. I appreciate the insight here. How would they go about rescheduling an extract without rescheduling the plant from which its derived? It just sounds messy. But yes I suppose that's quite possible. Even if it's just CBD for now that's still a major step in the right direction. It would just be a really convenient time to change their tone on cannabis as a whole as ...more

Long hold forsure, but there's lots to be excited about here which is good. On your question about CBD, CBD can also be harvested from Hemp where as THC and all its psychoactive properties don't exist in that plant, so it'd be much more likely to see hemp go that route. Sad when they'll prescribe synthetic opium to people with neck pain but somebody having seizures their entire ...more

Gotcha. Thanks again for taking the time to explain. Seems inevitable that the US will come around on full legalization at some point. I'm hoping they take a run at it before next election, but as you said there's some key people standing in the way.

But it seem's that Trump & Jeff Sessions have been in a bit of a pissing match lately so this may not be good for us. Hopefully the right palms get greased to get this through . . . Politic's as usual . . .
