Where is the NEWS!!!

It's been over 3 months since the court date. Hoping for a positive outcome as I kept all of my RRSP shares.....HG

Because Yves-Francois Blanchette has a major role/responsability in the Strateco saga, it is most likely that a positive decision for the shareholder will be delivered after the federal election.  This is possibly a tactic to lower/reduce any interference between the case and the federal election.  IMO the longer we wait, the better... My two cents...

Back in the days, I did a few napkin calculations and the final amount was around 0.15$ per share without any legal fees.  I would have to dig out the assumptions but I remember that I considered it on the conservative side. Basicaly, I think that they will compensate as PQ mingled in the BAPE process for strickly political reason.  But, the sharerholders will need to chip in so that ...more

And in the case of compensation, if the government appeals the judgment - does the appeal suspend payment?
