I d like to purge part of the loss before the end of this year.
 What is the procedure for selling my RSC shares ?

Unless you are on the US exchange, I don't think there is anyway you can sell.  I believe (at least through RBC) there is a form you can fill out to release your shares, with no compensation, in order to claim as a loss. You would no longer own the shares after that.  I did that several years ago with a stock.  Not sure it is still the process, but your broker should be able to ...more

you can file a total loss form and use your loss against your wins in your tax return. you dont need to sell shares to use them as write off. i think this is the dumbest idea ive heard since pot stock mutual fund . you realize if we win 1 rsc share could be 60 cents cnd

In my case years ago, the stock I had wasn't coming back.  I hope you are correct about RSC being 60 cents if we win. I will be happy with 30 cents....  Just hope we win. GLTA

It's always darkest before the sun rises, the Cree filed all there paper work on Aug 4, The SCC now needs to review and hopefully accept our case. Keep your fingers crossed. Also don't forget the uranium moritorium has been lifted which means we can sell the property. Uranium currently sells for around $32.00 / lb, our cost to produce is 21.00. We now have 2 possibilities to get our money ...more
