Funny perspective from IR

Was talking to this IR guy regarding loss of share price.  He said well we just lost pennies. If you look long term pennies means nothing.

Investors look at % not pennies. Thoughts? Shouldn't IR get better guys and gals?
Comment by jsg335 on Nov 27, 2013 10:49am
Yeah maybe that guy doesn't understand that the company he works for is actually now a penny stock and the % he is talking about has dropped about 50% in the past month, what a clown.
Comment by monzie on Nov 27, 2013 10:59am
Well is he right or is he wrong?  The number one priority for IR is long term shareholders not day traders.  Why should they concern themselves with people whining and complaining about not being able to get their 10 cent trading range for the month/week?  STP's goal is to grow shareholder value in the long run. So why should they come out with an insignificant PR to stop a ...more

Monzie = Foo..F... Well, you are the person who released real news prior to STP releasing. Days are not far away when Alberta Security Commission come chasing to your office.... You better be careful Monzie...you are an insider...

And you just proved my point of how pathetic you truly are.

I'm with Monzie on this one. In the end the results will speak for themselves. Small cap stocks are typically volatile due to the uncertainty associated with them and there is no way management can control that. Attempting to somehow manage or pump the share price through useless IR updates just reeks of desperation and is typical of management that has nothing else to show for ...more

It is SHOW TIME for STP...not a joke anymore...
Comment by jsg335 on Nov 27, 2013 11:11am
I have owned this stock on and off many times and to think that losing 50% in the stocks value in a month is not a concern is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard.  You would think the long term shareholders would be most concerned due to the fact it's value had dropped much more than 50% over the past couple of years.  Daytraders or long term holders should all be ...more

So, very true jsg335. Could not agree more than 100%.  My friend was at the AGM and he was surprised by the casual attitude of the management.  In addition, IR guy was nowhere to be found. Time for change.... A good question for Monzie - did you even have a dollar invested in STP? Long term BS is for idots. The baseline is company lost 50% share value in a month. Last year when there ...more
Comment by monzie on Nov 27, 2013 11:26am
Yes jsg but my point is that we have gone through this kind of drop already this year when it hit the same price that it is today, and then it rebounded over 100% in two months which is the equivalent of going up 50% a month for two months.  But of course you had nothing to whine about then seeing as you have bought and sold many times so I'm sure you made money during that time.  So ...more

"Because the only people whining on this board are the day traders - not even the longs who bought in at much higher prices." WRONG WRONG AND WRONG..... BMO, Scotia Bank, TD...and all others are whining....read their investor's report! Even managment is not buying at these levels....WHY?? You don't need to tell us Monzie...
Comment by jsg335 on Nov 27, 2013 11:47am
Monzie you have to remember this is a bullboard with the purpose of discussing the company, and so I ask you what else are we suppose to think when the value of the company has declined this much?  What else are we suppose to talk about?  You are right that I did buy at lower levels and that in the past it did bounce up, but the problem is the dumping that I saw yesterday looked odd and ...more
Comment by monzie on Nov 27, 2013 12:17pm
jsg really?  Half a percent of outstanding shares were traded yesterday -that's 0.5%.  In what world does that look like everyone running to the exits?  The trading range was 30.5 to 33.5 cents.  The "dumping" as you call it could easily have been stop losses being eaten up by the MMs. But once again you just proved my point about your over-exaggerations and the ...more

hahahahahhaha......could not stop laughing....so, don't come back and tell us just 1% shares trades in last 2 weeks and price went down from 70 cents to 30 cents... hahahhahahahahhahaha.....you made my day monzie....love investors like you.... hahahahhahahahaha
Comment by jsg335 on Nov 27, 2013 12:42pm
In L2 at one point yesterday we had a load of sell orders at .305 to .35 range which was a bit odd considering the sell off over the past month, but I guess I am wrong to question that.  You have made me feel much more better about the current price considering all the valid points you have made about why the company is in a good position and how we as holders have nothing to question or ...more
