Well Well

From a new buyers standpoint this has oodles of potential, from a long term investors standpoint it aint so good. As someone said cost averaging is a chumps game. As long as there is no rollback  in 2014 I am sure we will see over a buck. Big potential thats for sure, for me its hard to get my head around the less news. I guess from whats been posted the most exciting thing I read was.

2013 bonuses will be reviewed after the end of the year. (or something like that)
To me this rings of managment thinking a pop is around the corner.

Fingers Crossed, it would be nice but I am not buying right now.
Maybe the last week of the year

It is also nice to see a 575k buy order sitting at .32cents, provides a bit of a bottom.  I also think we will see $1 by next summer at latest, maybe spring.  This should be an easy double if not more.

I agree. If you parse through the November 14th update, it isn't all bad. Holding existing rates after two months of increased production is not unusual. And, as somebody mentioned, the guys in charge of this ramp up were the same ones who started up Firebag. However, this is no Firebag. The Suncor/McKay plant ran through the same issues. Let's hope they bought whatever bag of tricks they ...more

The production looks promising.  What are the chances that they can get to 12,000 per day by Q2 2014 like they state in their presentation?

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, if they were to hit that 12k per day target the stock would jump to $1.50+ my guess, but the problem is they seem to take one step forward and then 2 steps back.  I also think you would see managment buying now if they thought things were going to be that good in 6 months.

Thanks for the laugh Jzkbbi.  That was a good one. nikehercules, when has STP traded in the .20s?  It looks like it is about to, but I haven't seen it crack .30 yet, so how could you have been buying in the .20s? And a comment to all of those people thinking about buying at the tax loss deadline, the bottom in tax loss stocks usually happens about 4 trading sessions before the ...more

I mentioned it may hit the 20's (looked like it would this morning), and I said I might be buying - so you are right...haven't bought any yet in the 20's. (lowest purchase is 0.32, average 0.44) I wanted to get a reaction, and to see if management actually cares about the SP.
