More ICD Info

There are some good slides here with this info. I guess I'm wondering why it took them this long to deploy this technology, cost maybe? You can find all this stuff on the internet and according to the slides, it's been around quite a number of years for sure. Is there anyone here with more in-depth technical knowledge of SAGD process and troubleshooting? I am speculating that these inflow and outflow devices are not cheap to buy or deploy and I also wonder whose components did they get. I see Bake-Hughes, Schlumberger, and Haliburton so far. I do hope they are items that do not require very much maintenance, if any at all. Cost wise that is.... Here is a Baker-Hughs link..

Hey Demarko, No, I think the next important news from stp is the results of installing the ICD components in the well pairs. That is what everything is hinging on for STP.

Indeed. The first test on 2P1 was a resounding success, DOUBLING production. (With more to come as conformance kicks in) Just sayin'.
