I feel like something is definitely close here. It seems now more like a buyout, than a JV. Some indicators have been posted on here. Others are just rumours. That said - right up to the day before last results the market believed results were good. Or maybe they thought the deal would close and be announced with results. Either way. Market was wrong. Tom Petty was right. The waiting is the hardest part.

We will wait, but the management at STP doesn't need to wait, they need to start installing those ICDs! I wonder how they are going to explain to a potential buyer why all those engineers at STP couldn't get the oil out of the ground! they need to prove it is possible to get the full potential out of their reserve and then think about selling. That's all i'm going to say for this

Good point Alfino, very good one actually... I am just hoping potential buyer/JV will look at the first ICD that has been installed and see the potential of what the rest can do over time.  Nice to see the SP bounce today by 10.64%, lets see if next week will bring us back to .30 ...or finally the end of the stratigic review. Buyout or JC, if not...they better start moving a bit faster and
