I just bought on Friday.........and some of you have a sinking ship mentality. I see a future..........From oil sands[edit] Canada has most of the world's supply of natural asphalt/bitumen, covering 140,000 square kilometres[58] (an area larger than England), giving it the second-largest proven oil reserves in the world. No one's saying that there isn't oil in the ground.  Everyone knows that.  The naysayers argument is that STP isn't producing enough bbl/d to profit (which is true so far), and that the company has a lot of debt, which is true as well but there is still alot of time before the first collection knock at the door.  The majority of stakeholders are investing in the company ...more

You could give some consideration for those that bought upwards of $1.50 or even upwards of $1 or even upwards of $0.50 and realize they may have a reason for your "condesending" "sinking ship mentality. Those that are buying in at 20 cents have a much better ...more

No matter what happens. Sale at 0.50 or 0.70 or whatever - bigger picture this is bad bews for Alberta's junior oilsands market. STP has the best management and engineering team and even these guys ran into trouble. They even had Senlac pumping out huge amounts of free cash flow it just wasn't enough. Unfortunately, we're going to continue to see less funding for the junior oilsands ...more

Very well said Pandora! I originally invested in the fall to December time frame when the stock ran up. I had high hopes and sunk a lot of $$$$ in, with wild dreams of what I would do with all the gains I would receive for this investment. Little did I know what would soon unfold.
