Im surprised

That Ir would say the review will end at the end of the summer, I am not calling anyone a liar but I am surprised!!!!
If this ends up being the case my guess is they will get sued.
Its all confidential and no one gets a heads up, just like they told farmerman
Lets say hypothetically a fund in calgary got the heads up the review would end and taking a wild guess that senlac would be sold, this would be bad for the share price so to save capital they starting selling their stock how would it impact the review? who would be liable?
would the insurance the company has protect it from litigation?
Whos to say, I am only asking questions here.
But to see it posted to the board then selling begins is a big coincidence isnt it?
There was no news on the review ending at the end of the summer, if it does.
Should be interesting times for all....

It was a great stampede

I am quite surprised Mr. Foofat volunteered that the strategic review would be over by the end of summer. I didn't even pry that out of him. If you'd like to hear it directly from the man, give him a call. It would be good to hear that from a second source like the CFO. JUnit - your friend is going to have a great time in Thailand. Two of my buddies are married to Thai women and live ...more

Just tried calling the CFO and got no answer. Can somebody else from the board call up Greg and re-confirm the end of summer timeframe for the strategic review? I have a feeling Adamsight is correct and that the end of summer timeframe might be material. Chances are you'll need to leave a message. I just want to make sure I didn't mishear anything or if I'm going nuts. Also, in ...more

I'm pretty stoked for Thailand. Going to be nice not to have any responsibilities for a few months.  I wouldnt worry about about the share price guys, I for one am hoping to see .14 or .15 because I plan to load right up. I had to do a road repair for one of the drill rig onsite here and when I was in the control room I started up a conversation with the consultant and Haliburton ...more

Senlac is most definitely on the chopping block. If the ICDs perform reasonably well on Pad 2, that is getting each well to pump out 600+ per day, then it would be more accretive for the company to sell off Senlac and either drill infill wells on Pad 2 or to get another pad online. Pad 1 is a complete waste of time and money as the last production numbers show. 3 dead wells (production 0). Aside ...more

Anything that the IR person says to you about the time frame is purely informal and has no binding impact on the company. I'm sure they would like the review to be over by the end of the summer and Im sure their goal is to have a deal concluded by the end of the summer.....but this is not binding. Publishing his comments and suggesting that they could be sued for the comments is a sure fire ...more

Hey Nike I just talked to Foofat via email, and sorry to say your ears may have deceived you - because to me he said that the company can't divulge a timeline with the usual line of "until the BoD has approved a specific transation".  Interestingly tho, I also asked him about future ICD applications to the AER to which he said the company no longer needs approval and has been ...more

The review ending is going to be good for the stock. It is the waiting that causes a lack of interest.

Thanks to Adamsight i will no longer be posting any of my conversations with STP on this public board. Adamsight - you have alot to learn about the stock market. You have repeatedly threatened lawsuits etc. etc. against a company that is in trouble but doing their best to dig themselves out of the hole. Threatening lawsuits might make you feel better, but does nothing for the free flow of ...more

You shouldn't let that Sith Lord influence you like that. Keep posting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvxAMCJe7ak And if you listen carefully, it sounds like one of the droids passes gas at the end of the clip. Just look at Luke's face.

Learn to read, I have said if there are shenanigans a company is likely to be sued. Do you honestly believe that you should get material information before others? If and I say if you are getting material information and its not your imagination (as someone else posted) do you believe that only you are and that others with more stock dont know? You have a lot to learn if you are that naive  A ...more
