BOD

At the AGM the Company plans to reduce the number of Directors to 6 and all the nomonies are the Present Board. They do not plan to replace the Director that resigned in Aug.
Also could not find any info on Hedging, anyone find out any info, nice to know as perhaps the present oil price drop is a non issue for STP.

From Circular on SEDAR.

Election of Directors
At the Meeting, shareholders will be asked to fix the number of directors to be elected at the Meeting
at six members and to elect six directors to hold office until the next annual meeting or until their successors
are elected or appointed. There are currently six directors of the Corporation, each of whom retires from
office at the Meeting.
Unless otherwise directed, it is the intention of management to vote proxies in the accompanying form
in favour of an ordinary resolution fixing the number of directors to be elected at the Meeting at six members
and in favour of the election as directors of the six nominees hereinafter set forth:
Byron C. Lutes Sid W. Dykstra
David M. Antony Kenneth N. Cullen
Tibor Fekete Ross D.S. Douglas

As far as I know their hedging program ended at the end of March.  And rad STP doesn't have a line of credit any more so not sure what "the gaffer" is talking about with regards to renegotiating.

sorry Monzie - I meant negotiating a line of credit.  Also Lutes feels that given the setbacks the company has faced / is facing - they can function with a slimmed down board of directors.  Reducing admin costs etc.  They fully intend to pay interest on debentures - but AGM should give some clarity as to whether this will be feasible.

My call was 2c on this one. from my past exp. stp type of stock chart drops to 2c and does a dead cat bounce to 12.5, i had 50000 share in that company and sold my position at 6c but it went up pass 12c. good time it was...

I bought a small position at 005 to get a feel of what is going on here, I agree with .2c to start the buy that's what I'm sense tells me, 1c is the ultimate then just calculate how much of the pie % one would like allowing for Financial engineers to do their magic, its not going to be a dead cat bounce as its more from ringing out sh equity then possible news on financial re positioning ...more

bought at .05 also this company cannot cut back enough employees to make up differential on price 100b to 85b from 4000b/d is like 60000 plus interest outflow so your right 1 to 2c any bad news from within it will be all

The sources, who are familiar with operations at Iran's main export terminal Kharg Island in the north of the Gulf, said 14 of National Iranian Tanker Company's (NITC) fleet of 25 very large crude carriers, each loaded with about 2 million barrels of oil, are now at anchor acting as floating storage
